Focusing primarily on landscapes, Diane works in both Pastel and Oil. Using Sketches or preliminary drawings/paintings done Plein air along with photographs for reference, the paintings are then finished in her home studio."I love being outside, and painting gives me the opportunity to really see what nature has to offer us."

Although she enjoys painting landscapes, Diane does not limit herself to that alone, she also paints still life, figure and portraits. "Lately I have been experimenting with some expressionistic painting as purely a response to a particular piece of music. It is interesting to see how music and art can be intertwined."
